One of the big draws for people looking to buy Helotes real estate is the wide variety of community groups. The city provides resources for residents at every stage of life. Casa Helotes Senior Citizen Center is one of these places. Originally founded in 1986, Casa Helotes is a safe and friendly place for seniors to take classes, get exercise, play games with friends, and eat nutritious meals. Seniors from Helotes homes and the greater San Antonio area come for line dancing, dominoes, yoga, painting, quilting, and more. Lunch is served at noon every weekday. Anyone aged 60 or over is welcome. A donation of $4 is requested.
Head to the Spaghetti Fundraiser Near Helotes Homes
In order to fund the good work of Casa Helotes, the center is organizing a fundraiser on Tuesday, February 28th. Tickets for the 9th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser are just $10. Get tickets at the Casa anytime Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Helotes real estate owners may pick up their spaghetti to go from 3 to 5 p.m. on the day of the event. Or plan to eat in from 5 to 8 p.m.
